Sex+ Presents: Women On Top

We are celebrating our first birthday since our launch in January 2017 with a new series of panel debates on sex! Our first panel will celebrate the voices of Women On Top, an exploration of female dominance in the bedroom and beyond. We will be covering the following hot topics and much more:

  • What female dominance in the bedroom ACTUALLY means
  • What to do and how to get started
  • What's in it for men?
  • Female dominance and gender equality
  • How to find your individual style
  • How to play safe and stay happy

There will be a live Q&A at the end of the panel debate for all the questions you never dared to ask.

Event Schedule

Doors open: 19:00

Panel debate: 19:30-20:30

Q&A: 20:30-21:00

Panel Members

***Kim Loliya (Chair and Editor)***

Kim is a Somatic Sex Educator who specialises in women's sexual empowerment and healing through bodywork and coaching. Kim believes that sexual pleasure is our birthright and that overcoming sexual shame is the key to joyful, powerful lives and relationships. Kim facilitates workshops and panel debates on a variety of topics and promotes inclusivity in the sexuality industry by leading Diversity For Sexuality Professionals - a practitioner group that provides support and best practice to widen access to sexuality-based services and training.

***Marti Birch***

Marti is a passionate facilitator, mentor and feminist, working internationally in the field of sexuality since 2013. She loves to create spaces and situations where we can explore our depths and our limits, preferably while having a really great time! Her ongoing fascination in power, consent and equality has inspired her latest project, Sound of Birch, where women bring the ethos behind what they learn in the bedroom into everyday life. Marti has helped many women nurture their own power and take more control of their lives. Her personal story has inspired her quest to help others to contribute to the world with their power and their vulnerability, their wisdom and their authenticity.

***Goddess Qadesh***

A lifestyle and Professional Dominatrix doing sessions online, in real time, as well as many other things! Qadesh provides a wide spectrum of services to create fulfulling client sessions for everyone involved, never doing anything that isn't enjoyable. Quadesh takes particular pleasure in CBT, bondage, domestic service and financial domination, though the overwhelming drive is the act of domination itself. The control given by clients and slaves is a precious gift and leaves a delightful taste in the mind.

***Majeste***

Majaeste has been a presence in the kink scene for a fair few years now, from hosting workshops to running events. She believes passionately in dispelling the myths and fallacies often perpetuated about female dominance and submission. As likely to be seen poised on a throne surrounded by kneeling women as in the centre of the crowd gesticulating to the point of drink spillage, she likes to challenge the assumption that dominance always takes a certain form.

To RSVP please email sexpluszine@gmail.com and you will receive the restaurant details and confirmation of your place (if you have clicked 'going' via Facebook that won't count as a valid RSVP).

Our intention is to hold a sex positive, safe space, which is free from -isms or -phobias, where everyone can be themselves. This is not a pickup zone and any predatory behaviour will result in the person being asked to leave.

Webinar: Decoding Female Pleasure

Female pleasure is complicated, or so we’re told. Navigating what to do in bed, when to do it and how to have fulfilling sex with a female partner can be a minefield, fraught with confusion and insecurity. This interactive webinar is an opportunity to debunk myths around female pleasure, ask those awkward questions you’ve had on your mind for a while and discover what leads to more connection and pleasure without getting too serious (sex isn’t supposed to be serious!).

We will be covering the following topics:

  • The science of arousal
  • Cock-centricity – what is it and how does it affect sex?
  • Orgasm and conditioning
  • Core Skills in Lovemaking
  • Going from good to great
  • Shame-free Q&A

Who are you?

Kim Letizia and Phillipa G are facilitators, sex educators and community leaders who run workshops and events on sex and sexuality that invite new possibilities, growth and empowerment, whilst nurturing a safe and open-hearted space. With a passion for sharing real and vulnerable stories, they are also the founders and editors of a publishing platform for the sex positive community and wider world.

Practical information

The webinar will start promptly at 8pm and will take place via Zoom (please visit Zoom and familiarise yourself with the software if you haven’t already used it before). A teleconference link will be sent out a week before the webinar via email with joining instructions.

Please purchase your ticket online via Eventbrite.

If you have any questions, please get in touch.

We look forward to connecting with you,

Kim and Phillipa
